"We need 200 volunteers to provide direct support for the deployment to take back the community. The Churches are prepared to move. We are meeting every morning at 7:30 to coordinate the efforts. I understand those who might hesitate to come out for the mobilization. There are other ways to contribute. I do have to raise a significant amount of money for the food, transportation, uniforms and administrative infrastructure. Also, the neighborhood organizations will need resources. Some of you have offered to contribute. I wanted to have a real plan first. Now is the time to act. In the last week we have lost two small children and a college graduate trying to celebrate his accomplishment. Our children are not safe. Enough is enough. Thank you so much."
