Time and time again, the Minneapolis City Council approves projects that do not meet the standard of growth with integrity. Instead, the Council continues to bend the rules for developers and to approve projects that threaten the integrity of our historic districts and our neighborhoods. Our urban assets, including historical landmarks, the River and Lakes and shorelines, our urban canopy and green space--our beautiful and livable environment--are being sacrificed at the altar of development for development's sake, at the behest of the Mayor and City Council President.
